Greene County will award  20 Paramedic Training Awards of up to $14,500.00 each to candidates sponsored by an entity with a Certificate of Need (CON).

Recipients of this award will sign a binding agreement acknowledging that they will:

  • Successfully complete an accredited Paramedic program that has been approved by the county;
  • Pass the NYS Department of Health (DOH) Division of Emergency Medical Services certification exams. and;
  • Actively serve as a Paramedic within Greene County for a provider with a CON for a period of at least four (4) years.
