Just wanted to take a moment to thank Danielle Hotaling at the EOC for all her hard work planning and coordinating the 9/11 Event at the EOC Building honoring the 25th Anniversary. It's not easy to coordinate that large of an event and also her help with connecting with Gordon Mosher to install the flags. Also big thanks to the Cairo B&G Staff who always do a great job with the maintenance and sprucing up the EOC. It's great to work alongside some really good employees.

Since Supervisor Helen Castle's retirement over the summer, Shauna has taken on extra duties and responsibilities and is single-handedly running Greene County's Preventive Unit. Shauna is the only SCW for 3 Caseworkers, 2 of which are new workers. Carl Cheney
Thank you, Carl Cheney! Tourism's part-time employee, Carl Cheney, recently received heartfelt praise from a Brooklyn couple who chose Historic Catskill Point for their Catskills wedding. During the warmer hours of the early afternoon, as guest and vendors arrived, Carl worked diligently to provide regular shuttle service from Dutchman's Landing parking area. The couple shared that his courtesy, attention to safety, ambition to help, positive attitude, and wonderful Dad jokes left a lasting impression on everyone attending and helped the day flow smoothly. Carl, thank you for always asking questions when you need support and for welcoming Visitor Center visitors and event guests with such genuine hospitality. Your dedication makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for representing Greene County Tourism so well!
IT and Buildings & Grounds
Just want to take a moment to let you know that IT and Buildings & Grounds did an awesome job setting us up in the new building. It has been a very smooth transition. It is obvious that they spent quite a bit of time laying out a plan for the move and set up before the actual move date.
