We appreciate your time and expertise, as well as your collaboration with our Nursing staff and Administration in developing policy details to ensure lifesaving Narcan is accessible/close to AEDs in our buildings while still in the midst of this epidemic. To All Staff at the Greene County Health Department: Back in November I was helping an immigrant family that needed vaccines so they could get their green cards. They live in Albany County, but we could not find a place for the youngest child, under 4 years old, to get his vaccines. I was referred to Greene County Health Dept. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. I thought I was going to have to visit multiple places to get all the vaccines needed. When I mentioned this the staff said, "we are here to help you" and did all the vaccines. It was a stressful time, but you made it much easier. I just wanted you all to know how much that was appreciated. The nurses even gave winter hats for all four children in the family and bubbles for the youngest. Thanks again for all you do. It was the best experience during a stressful time.
Kurt consistently approaches his work with a positive attitude and a smile. No matter what is thrown his way, he takes it on without hesitation. Even when faced with something unfamiliar, Kurt is eager to learn and ensures the task is completed effectively. He is always willing to step in and help wherever needed, making him a dependable and valued member of our team. The Public Health Preschool Special Education Department would like to give a Shout Out to Laura Churchill & Pam Fancher Brent for January. At the suggestion of Laura Churchill, Public Health Director, we contact Human Resources to explore ways to advertise for providers in addition to our current post on Greene County's website. Pam Fancher-Brent, Principal Human Resource & Civil Service Aide, reviewed the options with us & was able to place a free ad on Indeed resulting in several submissions. Thank you, Laura & Pam, for finding another way to help address our provider shortage!
