Free Rabies Clinics in Greene County, NY

Public Health Law requires all cats, dogs, and ferrets to be vaccinated for rabies starting at 12 weeks old. To comply with this law, we offer free rabies clinics for Greene County residents each year.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Please call (518) 719-3600 or scan the QR code below to register your dogs/cats/ferrets. If you are feeding a stray, please bring them to be vaccinated.

If you have missed your scheduled clinic, please DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN. Give us a call at (518) 719-3600 to choose another available clinic date or cancel.

Clinic Information

This is a FREE DRIVE-UP ONLY rabies clinic for Greene County Residents. This is NOT open to breeders. Please be prepared with proper leashes, carriers, and muzzles (if necessary) for your animals to keep them and others safe.

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

You must present proof of pet’s previous vaccination (certificate, not tag) to receive a 3-year certificate; if no record is presented, pet will be given a 1-year certificate.

Donations will be accepted. Suggested donation is $5/animal.

Clinics are held at the Angelo Canna Town Park in Cairo, NY.

Our first rabies clinic of 2026 will be on Wednesday, June 17th from 5-7pm.
