Central Hudson Gas & Electric is rebuilding an electric transmission line to support the energy needs of local communities, replace aging infrastructure, and enhance the reliability of electric service. As part of this project, a lane closure will be required on Jefferson Heights/Main Street (Route 23B) near the intersection of Snake Road in the Town of Catskill. Beginning Monday, September 8, traffic will be limited to one direction at a time. Please expect delays. Construction is expected to last approximately 2 to 2.5 months, after which normal traffic patterns will resume. This rebuild represents a vital investment in the region’s electric infrastructure.
