NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
GREENE COUNTY LEGISLATURE
ADOPTION OF AGENCY-SPECIFIC SHORT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FORM FOR SEQRA REVIEW OF AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT MODIFICATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Greene County Legislature on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 6:15 p.m. at the Greene County Legislative Chambers, 411 Main Street, Catskill, NY 12414, to receive public comment on the proposed adoption of an agency-specific Short Environmental Assessment Form (Short EAF) developed by the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets, and Greene County’s proposed entry into a Cooperative Agreement with the Department. The Short EAF is intended to streamline SEQRA review for actions related to the modification, consolidation, or termination of agricultural districts under Article 25-AA of the Agriculture and Markets Law. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments may also be submitted to the Clerk of the Legislature prior to the hearing.
