Aging Advisory Board
What is the Greene County Aging Advisory Board?
The Advisory board works with the local department of Office for Aging in communicating the needs and concerns of older residents of Greene County. Responsibilities include attending monthly in person meetings, participating in one or more subcommittees (upon request) and assisting the County in promoting greater public awareness of aging issues, programs, and services. Committee members serve 3 year terms.

Veterans Advisory Board (Roundtable Outreach Initiative)
What is the Greene County Veterans Advisory Board?
In 2025, Greene County Veteran Service Agency started a new veteran’s advisory board known as the Veterans Roundtable Outreach Initiative, aimed at providing a platform for veterans across the county to voice their most pressing needs and concerns. These roundtables will serve as a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the veteran community, civic organizations and others to better understand how we can support them.

Youth Advisory Board
What is the Greene County Youth Advisory Board?
The Board shall be comprised of not fewer than 13 members and no more than 20 members who are residents of Greene County. Members must be at least 16 years of age at date of appointment. Membership should represent residents of the various towns in Greene County, agencies serving youth, or youth receiving services.
Potential members should have qualities that enable them to function effectively. They should be able to recognize the needs of youth in the community and take an active role in working toward building a continuum care system. Important personal qualifications include leadership, ability to positively interact with others, commitment to representing the interests of youth, and a willingness to devote time and effort to the board’s goals.
