Credible Mind Confidential Self-Care Resources Greene County Mental Health Center is a licensed provider of mental health outpatient treatment and rehabilitative services under the oversight of the NYS Office of Mental Health. As a public agency supported by your county and state taxes, any resident of Greene County may use the services of the Center.

Our team comprises a dedicated group of professionals including Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, and Psychiatric Nurses. Together, we collaborate to deliver a comprehensive system of care tailored to meet the mental health needs of Greene County residents. Before you go to a Hospital Emergency Room for a mental health-related issue, please contact Greene County Mental Health Center. We can either help address the concerns you have without going to the hospital, or we can help determine if your need is greater than we can handle and then direct you to the appropriate resources.  If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency or in crisis, please contact MHA’s Mobile Crisis at (518) 943-5555, or during non-business hours contact GCMHC’s Mental Health On-Call service (518) 622-3344 and ask to speak to the mental health on-call worker.

The Emotional Support Line provides free and confidential support, helping callers experiencing increased anxiety due to the coronavirus emergency. The Help Line is staffed by volunteers, including mental health professionals, who have received training in crisis counseling.
